With each season, Riot Games manages to keep things fresh and dynamic, and Season 14 is no exception. The new season brings a whirlwind of changes to items, pushing players out of their comfort zones and into a realm of exciting possibilities.

Farewell, Mythic Items

One of the most significant shake-ups in Season 14 is the departure of Mythic items. Love them or hate them, they’ve bid us adieu. Instead, a restructuring of items has taken place, dividing them into categories like Mage, Assassin, Tank, Enchanter, Fighter, and Marksman.

Several familiar items have been removed, leaving a void that’s swiftly filled by an array of new items. Items like Galeforce, Goredrinker, Chalice of Harmony, Gargoyle’s Stoneplate, Duskblade of Draktharr, and Crown of the Shattered Queen are no longer part of the game, paving the way for fresh strategies and tactics.

Enter the World Atlas

Support items and their quests have undergone a massive transformation, merging into a singular item: the World Atlas. This morphs into a Runic Compass after accruing 500 gold, obtaining ward charges. Upon hitting 1000 gold, it evolves into a Bounty of Worlds, leading to five distinct support items, each with its unique strengths and weaknesses.
